All prices on our website are in New Zealands [NZD] and are inclusive of the 15% Goods and Services Tx [GST] Orders will only be processed in New Zealand dollars only.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Account to Account transfer and  Afterpay.

The Cowhide Company uses the  DPS Payment Express Payment Gateway for its online credit card/Account to Account  transactions. You can help protect your details from unauthorised access by logging out each time you finish using the site, particularly if you are doing so from a public or shared computer.

If overseas, your credit card provider will convert the amount into your local currency at the Current exchange rate plus add any applicable fees or charges.

We do not store any credit card details.

Product Availabilty

Due popularity and most of our products being a “one of” some items may be unavailable or out of stock. While we aim to ensure that information on this website is correct, sometimes errors do occur for which we apologise for. It may be necessary to make changes to product specifications. We reserve the right to make these changes at any time and without notice.

Colours + Descriptions

Reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic processes allow, but please note colours instore may vary slightly from what is displayed on your monitor.

We strive to be as accurate as possible when describing and measuring the products featured on the site. However, however sometime times these may vary slightly or be incorrect, it is your responsibility to return it in an unused condition for a full refund, credit or exchange.

Made to Order

Products which are made to individual customers specifications, this includes our Patchwork cowhides, Ottomans, stools and Upholster, cannot be cancelled or returned if the customer decides they no longer wants the products.


We  may occasionally advertise items for sale as a preorder. Pre-order is defined as payment being made for goods in advance of their delivery, We endeavours to provide as close to accurate estimation of delivery date as possible however, this may be subject to change.

The Cowhide Company does not offer returns or exchanges for products purchased at discounted prices
