$7.00 Courier fee for all orders under $200 within NZ.
Your items will be shipped to you via Track and Trace courier.
Delivery times are appox 1-5 working days.
Any items being returned to us must be shipped via Track and Trace courier at your expense.

Take it & Try it

We know how hard it is to choose something from a picture online.

Our free “Take it & Try it”service will hopefully help you choose the right cowhide for your home.

Contact us with the Stock Number, your contact details including delivery address and credit card details.
Once you have received your cowhide you have 3 days to decide whether you want to go ahead with your purchase.

Your Credit card details are held until we hear from you within our 3 day courtesy period, there is no obligation to buy.

The Cowhide Company happily deliver or freight your choice of cowhide anywhere in New Zealand on approval, however if you are returning items, then you are responsible for paying for the return Track and Trace courier back to The Cowhide Company gallery in Auckland.

This is your part in a two way relationship of trust and honesty.
 

Purchases and Payments

When you are ready to purchase a gorgeous cowhide or accessory from The Cowhide Company, contact us via email with the Stock Number, your contact details including delivery address and method of payment, we will be in contact with you within 24 hrs

CARE Instructions

Your new cowhide will be shipped to you folded in a bag, it will have some creases initially, but will flatten after a few day lying flat or you can steam iron the hide to remove creases more quickly.

It is recommended that you change the position of your cowhide regularly to avoid wear to your cowhide.

Your cowhide can be stuck in position with Velcro spots or strong double sided tape. We also recommend that you avoid putting your new cowhide in direct sunlight, this will reduce the risk of possible fading, especially our Zebra Printed hides.

We recommend a good shake outside or vacuum regularly. You can wipe in the direction of the hair with a damp cloth and mild soap and water. Do not soak the hide or get it wet. Do not wash in a washing machine or dry clean.

For removing spills – soak up spills with a paper towel, cloth or sponge immediately, then wipe with a damp (but not wet) cloth using mild soapy solution. You can wipe and rub the hair in any direction. A solution of 1% white vinegar and 99% water on a damp clean cloth will remove any unpleasant odours and balance PH levels.
